JOB ADVERT Job Summary We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven Payroll Officer to manage all aspects of payroll processing for our organization. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Cameroonian labor regulations, payroll calculations, and advanced excel skills with the ability to work while ensuring accuracy and strict compliance. Key Responsibilities The Payroll Officer will be responsible for the following: 1. Payroll Administration and Processing Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare, review, and validate payroll data including salaries, allowances, overtime, and deductions. Maintain accurate payroll records (physical and digital). Ensure strict confidentiality of employee compensation information. 2. Statutory Compliance and Reporting Ensure full compliance with Cameroonian payroll regulations, including CNPS declarations, IR/IRPP calculations, and all statutory deductions. Prepare and submit monthly statutory declarations within required deadlines. Monitor updates in finance laws, labor laws and tax regulations to ensure continuous compliance. Support payroll-related audits and ensure proper documentation for inspection purposes. 3. Payroll Reconciliation and Employee Support Reconcile payroll accounts and promptly resolve discrepancies. Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and compensation processing. Address payroll-related employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Prepare payroll summaries and management reports as required. Required Skills Min of 2 years proven experience as a Payroll Officer. In-depth knowledge of Cameroonian payroll regulations, including CNPS, IR/IRPP, labor code, and statutory deductions. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel: formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis. Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines. Strong sense of confidentiality and professional integrity. Experience managing payroll for 50+ employees preferred. Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and spoken). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
