This role will include a four to five course teaching load during the Fall-Spring semester. Position Title: 01 Mathematics & Physics Lecturer Location: MOMGOMO (Equatorial Guinea) Type of Contract: Contract of Specified Duration (This position will be a 9-months academic appointment with an anticipated start date of October 15, 2021) Mission: Provides effective and proactive teaching and learning to students participating in the mathematics / physics course ensuring that lessons are based on clear learning objectives and that all students make progress. Promote student learning and be accountable for student progress and development within the mathematics & physics course. Raise standards of student attainment, attitudes to learning and achievement Undertake teaching duties in accordance to the Engineering Department's schemes of work and the defined curriculum Plan and deliver lessons and laboratory activities, Promote and maintain high professional standards within the classroom and support the objectives and ethics of The Engineering Department Qualifications The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to teaching. Excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate level; Diploma: MSc. or Ph.D. in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics is required. Other degrees are acceptable only with relevant and significant industry experience; Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience from the Engineering curriculum.
